Painless Delivery

A painless delivery, also known as an epidural delivery, is a type of childbirth where the mother is given medication called an epidural to help alleviate pain during labor and delivery.

An epidural is given through a small tube inserted into the lower back, and it delivers a combination of medications that numbs the nerves in the lower half of the body. This allows the mother to remain awake and alert during delivery, while also reducing or eliminating the pain associated with contractions and delivery.

Laparoscopic

Laparoscopic Gynecologic Surgery is a type of surgery that is performed on the female reproductive system using small incisions and a specialized instrument called a laparoscope.

A laparoscope is a long, thin tube with a camera and light at the end that is inserted through a small incision in the abdomen. This allows the surgeon to see inside the body and perform the surgery without making a large incision.

Laparoscopic Gynecologic Surgery can be used to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions affecting the female reproductive system

Menopause

Menopause is a natural biological process that marks the end of a woman's reproductive years. It is a normal and natural part of aging that typically occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, although it can occur earlier or later.

During menopause, a woman's body undergoes hormonal changes that lead to the cessation of menstrual periods. This occurs because the ovaries stop producing eggs and the levels of the hormones estrogen and progesterone decline.

Infertility

Infertility is a medical condition that occurs when a couple is unable to conceive a child after trying to conceive for at least one year. It is a common problem that affects approximately 10-15% of couples of reproductive age.

Infertility can be caused by a variety of factors, including hormonal imbalances, problems with ovulation or sperm production, blockages in the fallopian tubes, and structural abnormalities in the reproductive organs. Other factors that can contribute to infertility include age, lifestyle factors such as smoking and excessive alcohol consumption, and certain medical conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis.

Gynecology Cancers

Gynecologic cancers are cancers that affect the female reproductive system, which includes the cervix, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and vagina. These types of cancers can be caused by a variety of factors, such as genetic mutations, hormonal imbalances, and exposure to certain viruses or chemicals.

The most common types of gynecologic cancers are cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, vulvar cancer, and vaginal cancer. Each type of cancer has its own unique symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options.

Family Planning

Family planning is the process of making informed decisions about when to have children and how many children to have, as well as choosing the appropriate methods to prevent or achieve pregnancy.

Family planning services provide individuals and couples with the information, resources, and tools needed to plan and space their pregnancies. This can include counseling on contraceptive options, fertility awareness methods, and preconception care.

Abortion

It is appropriately said that every child should be a wanted child, however, sometimes a pregnancy may not be wanted. In this case, one may seek an abortion. Abortion is legal, provided it is carried out within the legal permits. An abortion can be done only up to 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Aborting a pregnancy is a very personal decision. This is why our doctors advise counseling first. However, if the woman still decides to terminate her pregnancy, our gynecologists are medically trained and legally licensed to perform the abortion procedure.

IVF

IVF stands for In Vitro Fertilization. It is a type of assisted reproductive technology (ART) used to help individuals and couples who are struggling with infertility to conceive a child.

IVF involves retrieving eggs from a woman's ovaries and fertilizing them with sperm in a laboratory dish. The resulting embryos are then transferred to the woman's uterus, with the goal of achieving a successful pregnancy.

The IVF process typically involves several steps, including ovarian stimulation to produce multiple eggs, egg retrieval, fertilization in the laboratory, and embryo transfer.

HIV counseling

HIV counseling is a process in which an individual is provided with information and support related to HIV, a virus that can lead to AIDS. The goal of HIV counseling is to help individuals understand their risk of HIV infection, learn how to reduce their risk, and cope with the emotional and psychological impact of HIV.

HIV counseling can take many forms, such as individual or group counseling sessions, HIV testing, and pre- and post-test counseling. In these sessions, individuals may receive information about how HIV is transmitted, how to prevent HIV infection, and how to manage the physical and emotional aspects of HIV.
